well despite your username that was a really warm and friendly comment.

thank you for the heart fuzz and may it continue to grow (unless you meant it literally, like hair on a heart.. then..)

  5. whowantstohangout asked: any good fashion blogs for the ladies??

I don’t follow any myself, but would be glad to hear recommendations if anyone has some?

    Personally, I find dresses simple.

Cut away all the needless swishes of fabric that swathe and drape around and clutter up an otherwise lovely dress, steer clear of figure hugging/billowy-formless iterations, and stick to skater cuts.

Add functional pockets for a mega dose of swag.

In general, silhouettes that shadow your body’s outline without making you look like a human dumpling.. slight flare (think A-line skirts but less rigid) after waist suppression, and let the hem hit above the knees, failing which, an ankle swish works well for ladies with stilts for hormones.

Not a definitive guide to dresses (prints, sleeves/straps/structured shoulders blah blah), but eh a pretty safe guide to what the general dude would be impressed with. I think.

As for jeans and pants and shirts, slim, not strangling, is a good rule of thumb.

And a nice pair of oxfords/chucks would top most outfits off nicely.

(of course, it’s what’s on the inside that counts, so keep your organs healthy ladies.)

  13. Aaaand here they are the morning after, fully dry but also a few shades lighter and greener.

You can’t tell from this picture, but they took on a greenish tint after drying.

Still immensely pleased though, traipsed around in them for my final exam paper, and I haven’t taken them off since. Not being literal here though. Because I do remove them. When I’m indoors. Out of common courtesy.

And that ends the Superga Saga!

  14. I know it’s long overdue, but here are the Supergas mid-way through the drying process.

Awfully cluttered shot, but would like to point out that this deep shade of navy was what I was aiming for.
